In hospitals, nursing homes or forensic psychiatric units there are often door viewers mounted at the rooms doors to grant the staff insight into. However, third parties can also look trough the door viewers and see the persons inside. The door viewer lock ensures that only authorized persons receive visual access to the rooms. A coded key opens the cover and frees the spy hole.
